This privacy policy explains how Hey Krishna (the "App"), published by Agile Cookies Ltd, collects, uses and protects your data. It supplements our main privacy policy, which applies to all Agile Cookies services.

2. No account required
Hey Krishna has no user accounts. You do not sign in, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password to use the App.
3. Data we process
- Device identifier. The App generates a random identifier stored on your device and sends it to our servers to enforce free-usage limits, prevent abuse (such as reinstalling to reset free questions) and manage your subscription. It is not your name or email, and it is not used to track you across other apps or for advertising.
- Your questions. When you ask a question, the text is sent to our servers and processed by a third-party AI service to generate a response based on the Bhagavad Gita. Questions are used only to produce your answer and operate the App; they are not sold and not used to identify you.
- Subscription information. If you subscribe, purchase and entitlement data (receipts, subscription status) is processed via RevenueCat and the relevant app store to unlock premium features. We never receive your full card details.
- Usage analytics. We collect anonymous, aggregate events about how the App is used — which features are opened, the App version, device model and operating system version — to understand and improve the App.
4. Voice input
If you use voice input, speech is converted to text on your device. Your audio is not recorded, stored or sent to our servers.
5. How we use your data
- To provide the App's core functionality, including generating answers.
- To enforce free-usage limits and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features.
- To understand and improve the App.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
6. Third-party services
Hey Krishna relies on the following processors, acting on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards:
- Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and in-app purchases.
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management.
- A third-party AI service — to generate answers from the text of your questions.
- Cloudflare — backend hosting and anonymous usage analytics.
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place. See our main privacy policy for details on international transfers.
7. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the App and our servers.
8. Data retention
Because Hey Krishna has no accounts, we retain the device identifier and associated usage counts for as long as needed to enforce free-usage limits and prevent abuse. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
9. Your rights and data deletion
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over any personal data we hold. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your data, email privacy@agilecookies.com.
10. Children
Hey Krishna is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
